“The true harvest of my daily life is somewhat as intangible and indescribable as the tints of morning or evening. It is a little star-dust caught, a segment of the rainbow which I have clutched.”- Henry David Thoreau.

This blog is a way to document and balance the true harvests of my daily life…

Jamie Weisman works in the sustainable food, water, and agriculture industries. She especially enjoys creative work in these fields.

  1. Hi Jaimie!

It was so, so great to meet you the weekend before last. So sorry it took me a while to reach out–last week ended up being a fabulous game of catch-up with both work and sleep :). Hope you had as amazing a time as I did in San Francisco and best of luck with everything in the future. Keep in touch!

    Take care,
    Danielle

  3. Hi Jamie!

Wonderful thoughts here! Here’s to seasonal seasonings! I am so happy you got in touch after that great show we saw in Santa Barbara. Please try again, I started to reply but lost your # in a text deleting accident. Here’s to the fruits of spring and all the delicious treats coming our way. When you stop through town I have delicious backyard tangelos for you, and if you hurry, our cheremoyas are still here. There’s another promising SoHO show Wed. 4/4 with ALO members and other amazing musicians called Brokedown in Bakersfield. It will be full of amazing people!
    Hope to see you,
    Mariah

  4. Hey Jamie! I stumbled across your blog from the Hillcrest Farmers Market site. I used to run the events at the market as the intern at HBA and miss it every day! SO much fun. I’m a giant foodie in SD myself and respectively have a food blog. I thought it was awesome that you are involved with HBA and just wanted to reach out and say hi. I’m also looooving your cooking classes for kids. It’s so important to teach them early how easy and accessible wholesome food is; I’m super passionate about it and so happy to see people making moves here in SD. If you ever need an extra hand at the classes feel free to contact me!
    Best,
    Lauren

    • Hi Lauren, thanks for saying hi! I will definitely keep you in mind for classes in the future, thank you! And I am heading over to your blog now to check it out…

    Hey Jamie,

I was looking through the recipes and I couldn’t find a recipe for a good pasta sauce. If you have posted one could you send it to me and if you haven’t posted one, do you think you could add that to your list?! That would be awesome.

    Hope all is well!

    Thanks,
    Sam
